In the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar, supermodel Gisele Bundchen says of her new hubby, Patriots QB Tom Brady:
“Tom is a good guy… He has a very pure heart. He’s very naive, almost like a child. That is my favorite quality about him. One thing that I thought was so amazing when I first met him is that he is innocent. He sees the world with colored glasses.” (While Gisele speaks several languages, occasionally some charming malapropisms escape her.) “It’s beautiful, but I think that is rare. I love that about him. No one else sees that. He’s very strong and focused in his job, but he’s so sensitive, it’s amazing.”
Danica McKellar, 34, a mathematician and actress, who played the role of Winnie Cooper in The Wonder Years television series, married composer Mike Verta at an ocean-side church at sunset yesterday in La Jolla, California, according to People Magazine.
Though there was no mention of whether Fred Savage, who played the lead role of Kevin in the series, was in attendance, the story said several of the show’s actors, including Dan Lauria and Allie Mills, were among the 150 guests.
The bride’s maid of honor was her sister Crystal McKellar, who played the role of Becky on the series.
As earlier reported here, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore attended the wedding of her ex, Bruce Willis, yesterday.
But here are a few not-so-secret-now messages that Ashton tweeted yesterday:
Message 1:
watching my wife steam my suit while wearing a bikini. I love God!
Message 2:
I’m not wearing the bikini she is that’s what makes it so glorious
Message 3:
shhh don’t tell wifey
Message three came with a link to this picture, which we at Gossip Central are assuming is Mrs. Kutcher — and we’re not talking about his mother. (Warning this is not a PG-13/R photo)
Hmm… Maybe Demi needs to tell Ashton not to take his day job of shooting photos of pretty ladies in Nikon commercials home with him.
Pop Quiz: What does former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer and Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez have in common?
According to the Daily News — they both had their hookers supplied from ex-madam Kristen Davis.
The story says Rodriguez approached Davis in a Philadelphia gym in June of 2006 and asked her what she was doing later. Supposedly neither knew who the other was at the time, but Davis found him so appealing that in addition to being a customer of her service — Davis also saw A-Rod herself — for free.
Recession?
What recession?
While many people are worried about losing their jobs, dealing with upside-down mortgages and even down-sizing from upscale Italian eateries to waiting for a table at the Olive Garden — just look at the 20% pop in that chain’s parent company stock last week — it appears songbird Mariah Carey has no such worries.
According to luxist.com, Ms. Carey and hubby Nick Cannon have supposedly made an offer on “the world’s most expensive mansion” — listed at a mouth-dropping $125 million.
The five-acre Beverly Hills estate, called the Fleur de Lys (didn’t you just know it would have a fancy name?) was built by Texas billionaire David Saperstein and inspired by the Vaux le Vicomte palace outside Paris.
Perhaps this is Mimi’s way of giving back, since the property comes with a 3,000 square foot manager’s house with staff quarters for 10 people — and we know she’s going to have to hire some staff to care for the 15-bedroom structure, with Italian marble walls and gold-embossed leather wall coverings.
Then there will be the staff needed to care for the spa, pool, garden folly — and don’t forget about the championship tennis court.
Alas, at least we know who our Uncle Sam can run to if his “treasury” chest starts running low.
According to luxist, the mansion even comes with a juicy story:
Saperstein’s ex-wife, Suzanne, whom he supposedly ditched for the children’s “hot Swedish nanny” is the current owner of the estate.

The Associated Press is reporting that Jade Goody, 27, the dental assistant turned reality-TV star, courtesy of the British version of Big Brother, died in her sleep early this morning with her mother by her side at her home in Essex, England.
The tabloids heavily followed Goody since the summer of 2008 when she received a diagnosis of cervical cancer from her doctor on the telephone while cameras were rolling when she was filming the Indian version of Big Brother.
Wedding bells were in the air on Saturday as Just Jared reports Bruce Willis, 54, married model — and ex-wife look-a-like — Emma Heming, 32, on Parrot Cay in the Caribbean.
Speaking of the ex, Demi Moore attended the nuptials with hubby Ashton Kutcher.
